Signing of the IUT’s Objectives and Resources Agreement

The signing of the Nîmes IUT’s Contract of Objectives and Resources (COM) was a highlight of its most recent board meeting, which took place on Thursday, June 19, 2025, in the presence of President Philippe Augé, VPCA Alexandre Vernhet, VP CFVU Agnès Fichard-Carroll, DGSA Sébastien Pons, and Director of Steering Guilhem Culotte.

This report, presented at the board meeting by IUT Director Saïd El Youssoufi, conveys two messages. The first message illustrates how the IUT de Nîmes’s policy aligns with the University of Montpellier’s strategy, its priority areas, and its master plans. The second message highlights a specific, transformative project focused on the eco-responsible development and renovation of the Nîmes IUT campus.

This cross-functional project encompasses many aspects of student life on campus. It addresses, directly or indirectly, issues related to student orientation, inclusion, solidarity, and accessibility—particularly for people with disabilities—as well as the promotion of sustainable transportation and energy efficiency, raising awareness of social responsibility and civic engagement, sustainable development and the promotion of biodiversity, and the promotion of artistic, cultural, and athletic activities.

The quality of life for students and the working conditions for staff are at the heart of this collaborative project, which is expected to be implemented over the next three years.
