SIgnature of the IUT's Contract of Objectives and Means

The signing of the Nîmes IUT's Contract of Objectives and Means (COM) was a highlight of its last board meeting, which took place on Thursday June 19, 2025, in the presence of President Philippe Augé, VPCA Alexandre Vernhet, VP CFVU Agnès Fichard-Carroll, DGSA Sébastien Pons and Director of Steering Guilhem Culotte.

This COM, presented to the Board by IUT Director Saïd El Youssoufi, carries two messages. The first shows how the policy of the Nîmes IUT fits into the strategy of the University of Montpellier, its priorities and its master plans. The second message puts into perspective a specific, structuring project concerning the development and eco-responsible transformation of the Nîmes IUT campus. 

This cross-functional project encompasses many aspects of student life on campus. It covers, directly or indirectly, aspects of student welcome, inclusion, solidarity and adaptation, particularly for PRMs, promotion of soft mobility and energy efficiency, awareness of social responsibility and citizenship, sustainable development and promotion of biodiversity, promotion of artistic, cultural and sporting activities.

The quality of student life and staff working conditions are at the heart of this collective project, which should take shape over the next three years.
