IUT students win the Excellence Show finals

What a source of pride for the Nîmes University Institute of Technology! 👩‍🎓 👨‍🎓

On May 20 and 21, our students had the opportunity to participate in the grand finale of the Excellence Show held at IMT Mines Albi, as part of the MEDEI project (Professions and Expertise for the Decarbonization of Energy and Industry) led by the Institut Mines-Télécom.

The goal of this project is clear: to introduce and promote careers related to the decarbonization of energy and industry to young people, by young people themselves. An essential initiative to raise awareness among future generations about the industrial and environmental challenges of tomorrow.

After several innovation days bringing together nearly 200 students from various institutions in Occitanie, the team from theNîmes IUT stood out among more than 40 projects presented.
🥇 We are particularly proud of our students Célia Sandoval-Leon, Maël Dupont, Zayd Ben Mokhtar, and Soufiani Soifoini, as well as their mentor Miguel Lopez-Ferber, who won this edition with their project “Un Stage Un Clip ” 👏
This success rewards their creativity, their commitment, and their ability to propose an innovative approach to promoting industry careers among young people.
We warmly thank the Campus des Métiers and Qualifications d’Excellence Habitat, Énergies Renouvelables, Éco-Construction, as well as all the partners and mentors for organizing this wonderful challenge, their support, and their commitment to the students.
