BUT2 GC-CD STUDENTS VISIT THE ANIMA CONSTRUCTION SITE WITH THE EIFFAGE GROUP.

Students fromthe Nîmes IUT—BUT GCCD Program—Visit the Anima Construction Site with Eiffage Construction Languedoc-Roussillon 🏗️ About thirty second-year students from the BUT in Civil Engineering and Sustainable Construction at the Nîmes IUT — University of Montpellier —were welcomed last week to the Anima construction site (Montpellier Business School—Purple—CCI Hérault). 📐 Mr. Léo Tissot, construction manager, presented the project and the structure, followed by the specific construction methods used in the project. Special attention was given to the methods used in the structural work package: the amphitheater, high-rise circular walls, specialized shoring, etc. Léo Tissot then explained how the secondary trades and technical systems are coordinated with the structural work package, using a lean management approach. 🦺 The students then visited the site to explore all the project components: structural work and complex structures, as well as secondary and technical trades. This provided an opportunity to make a concrete connection between the lessons learned in the BUT program and the reality of a major construction project in our region.
