Come donate blood at the IUT!

➡ Donating blood means contributing to the healthcare system and helping many patients every year. This can be in cases of cancer, blood disorders, severe bleeding during surgery, or childbirth.


✔ To donate blood, you need to:

– Be between the ages of 18 and 70

– Weigh at least 50 kg

– Bring a photo ID

Before you come in, be sure to take the online test* on the EFS website to find out if you have any contraindications.

From the time you arrive until you leave, allow between 45 minutes and 1 hour (don’t worry—the donation itself takes only about 10 minutes on average). Keep in mind that it’s best to eat beforehand and stay well-hydrated throughout the donation.
