➡ Donating blood means contributing to the healthcare system and helping many patients every year. This can be in cases of cancer, blood diseases, major bleeding during surgery, or even childbirth.


✔ For a blood donation, you need:

- Between the ages of 18 and 70

- Weigh at least 50kgs

- Provide photo identification

Before coming to the hospital, remember to take the online test* on the EFS website to find out if you have any contraindications.

From your arrival to your departure, allow between 45 min and 1 hour(donating itself lasts only 10 minutes on average). It's best to eat beforehand and stay well hydrated throughout the donation.
