Inauguration of the TEDS Demonstrator – Industry of the Future

Today, Thursday, September 24, 2026, the Nîmes University Institute of Technology (IUT) inaugurated the TEDS – Industry of the Future Demonstrator, a space dedicated to Industry 4.0.

A project supported by our funding partners

The TEDS Demonstrator was made possible thanks to the support of Nîmes Métropole, the Occitanie Region, and the University of Montpellier. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Mayor of Nîmes, the Regional Councilor for the Occitanie Region, and the President of the University of Montpellier. Their presence at this inauguration demonstrates their commitment to education and innovation in our region. We would also like to thank the members of the IUT board for attending.

A collaborative project dedicated to education

The TEDS Demonstrator is the result of extensive work carried out by the IUT’s faculty and students. We would like to acknowledge their dedication, perseverance, and expertise, which made this ambitious project a reality.

A space open to the community

The TEDS Demonstration Center is designed for students, partners, and local businesses. There, they will find a place to discover, experiment with, and develop the technologies of the industry of the future.

This inauguration marks a new milestone for the Nîmes University Institute of Technology (IUT). It reaffirms our commitment to educational innovation and collaboration with the socio-economic sector.
