Orientation Day for New Students

The IUT is organizing an orientation day for the 430 students who have just started their first year in the BUT program.
In the morning, a role-playing activity and a student club fair will raise their awareness of environmental responsibility.

In the afternoon, a scavenger hunt will take them on a tour of the Ecusson district, from the Arènes to the Maison Carrée, from the Musée de la Romanité to the Maison de l’Europe, passing by the Youth Services office and many other must-see sites. It’s a great opportunity for them to discover, in particular, the cultural offerings, everyday life, and the services available to them.

Program

• 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.: Team role-playing and an introduction to eco-friendly organizations and student life
• 2:00 p.m.: Start of the team scavenger hunt in downtown Nîmes
• Starting at 4:30 p.m.: Welcome reception at the IUT hosted by institutional representatives, awards ceremony, and social gathering
