Back-to-school 2020 measures for students

Back to school 2020

As you will have seen from the government's announcements, the outlook for health remains uncertain, even if it currently looks very favorable. Mme Vidal, Minister for Higher Education, Research and Innovation, has asked us to be cautious for the start of the new school year and the first half of the year. The general rule is to limit the spread of the virus as much as possible, and to do what is reasonably possible to ensure the smooth running of the educational system and barrier measures.

We do our utmost to ensure that barrier measures are in place in rooms and corridors, and itis essential thateveryonebrings their own maskto ensure the ultimate barrier when physical distancing is not possible, as well as their own keyboard and mouse forcomputer use.

While physical distancing and hygiene measures remain in place, wearing a mask will be mandatory on the IUT premises in the presence of a third party*, in accordance with the prefectoral decree dated August 31, 2020**.

In consultation with the university's governing body, we are planning the following courses for the first semester of 2020-2021:

  • distance learning,
  • face-to-face and distance learning tutorials (methods to be adapted to each teaching sequence),
  • face-to-face practical work.

Before the start of the new school year, we'll be providing you with more detailed information on the organization of the premises and teaching methods, which will take into account developments in the health crisis.
