GEII Department Student Association
Starting in the fall semester of 2022, a single student union composed of students from every department at the IUT will replace the former student associations that existed within each department. This new structure will bring all students together through cultural, athletic, and social activities, among others.
The board was elected last May, and we will soon be posting a list of members and upcoming projects!
The department’s student association, UNANIM BDE GEII, organizes events and outings throughout the year in partnership with all the other departments at the IUT, including:
- Snow Break: 5 Days of Skiing in Andorra at the Grandvalira Resort
- Interdepartmental soccer tournaments
- Barbecues
- An Evening of Integration and Disintegration
- Evening events in partnership with several bars and nightclubs in Nîmes: Le Victor Hugo, Le Café Olive, Le CKF…
- Futsal Tournaments
- Karting
The association helps forge a strong and essential bond among students during their two years at the IUT, both in terms of academic work and mutual support, as well as during activities and celebrations. It also serves as a close link between students and faculty, fostering a positive atmosphere and cohesion within the department.
