Course Objectives:

– Discover the corporate world (learn how to fit into a work team);
– Apply the theoretical knowledge acquired at the IUT in a professional setting;
– Identify or solidify a career path.

How do I find an internship?

Students are responsible for finding their own internships. To apply, students must submit a resume and a cover letter. In most cases, this initial step will be followed by an interview during which they will be asked to explain their motivations. Students are advised to begin their search several months before the internship period begins. They are encouraged to choose an internship related to their career goals or future studies.

They also have the option of completing their internship abroad if they wish.

Course Grade

In the second year, students will defend their report before a panel consisting of their advisor and another faculty member from the department. The grade for the internship report and the defense will be weighted at a factor of 10.

The second-year internship is essential for earning the DUT in Agricultural Management.

Measures Taken to Support the Student

The department receives several internship offers each year and informs students of them.
To help students with the application process, the IUT organizes an annual Partnership Day. During this event, professionals come to present their companies and their career fields. Time is set aside for one-on-one meetings, allowing students to apply for positions and submit their résumés and cover letters.
