Course objectives :

- Discover the corporate world (learn to integrate into a work team);
- Apply the theoretical knowledge acquired at the IUT in a professional context;
- Find or consolidate a professional project.

How do I find an internship?

Students are responsible for their own internship search. To apply, they need a CV and a covering letter. In most cases, this will be followed by an interview, during which the student will be asked to explain his or her motivations. Students are advised to start their search several months before the internship period. They are advised to choose an internship that is relevant to their career or study plans.

They can also do their internship abroad if they wish.

Grading the course

In 2nd year, the student will present his or her report to a jury comprising the tutor and another teacher from the school's department. The grade for the internship report and the oral presentation will be weighted at 10.

The 2nd year internship is decisive for obtaining the DUT GEA.

Ways of helping the student

The department receives several internship offers each year and informs students of these.
To help students in their search for employment, the IUT organizes a Partnership Day each year. During this day, professionals come to present their companies and professions, and students have the opportunity to present their applications and submit their CVs and cover letters.
