GEA department projects

Several missions: integrate new students, organize extracurricular events and create a link between teachers and students.

NEPAGEA is a humanitarian association that supports the Victor Hugo Manjushree Vidyapith school in Nepal. The aim is to improve schooling conditions for Nepalese pupils and promote access to education. The tutored project organizes activities to sell and collect materials, which are then sent to the Nepalese school.

This tutored project involves raising funds for the APER association, Aide pour les enfants des rizières, which helps underprivileged children in Vietnam.
Throughout the year, project members organize events and activities. Here are just a few examples: class photo, Ninja Warrior field day, Vietnamese market, Asian buffet, pancake sale.

The Nîmes IUT is partnering with the Nîmes branch of Restos du Cœur. Generally, this project organizes a lottery to raise funds, which are then donated to the association. 2016-2017 is a new year for the partnership, as a charity gala is being organized. The entire organization is based on donations. The main source of motivation for donors, exclusively companies, is the tax reduction of up to 60% of the donation made.
