Because we want to professionalize you, while most DUTs have a 10-week internship, the internship lasts 11 or 12 weeks at SGM Nîmes.

The internship is a continuation of your training, to help you become autonomous in the company.

• Semesters 1 and 2: contact and visit a manufacturer during your Personalized Professional Project
• Semesters 3 and 4: you work with an industrial customer during the second-year project.
• Semester 4: The internship offers you your first job search, and your first experience of responsibility in a company.

In order to have the time to carry out a high-quality industrial project, the internship must be of a substantial duration. The minimum duration of an SGM internship is 10 weeks, but we insist on a minimum duration of 11 weeks, with the possibility of extending to August 31 (i.e. 20 weeks).

Because you provide work that brings real added value to companies, all SGM internships are remunerated.

Internships are monitored and supervised by the department, through visits to host companies. The internship is the subject of a written report and an oral presentation, assessed both in terms of technology and expression.
