The SGM association
From the start of the new academic year in September 2022, a single BDE made up of students from each IUT department will replace the former student associations that existed within each department. This new formula will unite all students through cultural, sporting and festive activities...
The board was elected last May, and we'll soon be giving you a list of members and upcoming projects!
The SGM student association aims to improve the daily lives of students in the Materials Science and Engineering department.
Throughout the year, the association works hard to keep the SGM department alive and kicking.
It implements :
- Sports events
- A ski holiday in January.
- Student parties in Nîmes and Montpellier.
- Kayak days with teachers.
It also works to raise the funds needed to organize events:
- Organization of the integration day.
- Disintegration day for 2ndyears.
- Hosting partnership and open days
- As well as organizing the challenge, which brings together all the SGM departments in France.
The association has a room where students can meet during breaks for coffee or tea.
