Starting with the new academic year in September 2022, a single student union (BDE) made up of students from each department of the IUT will replace the former student associations that existed within each department. This new structure will bring all students together through cultural, athletic, and social activities, among others…
The board was elected last May, and we'll soon be posting the list of members and upcoming projects for you to review!
The SGM Student Association aims to improve the daily lives of students in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering.
Throughout the year, the association works to organize activities for the SGM department.
It implements:
- Sports events
- A ski trip in January.
- Student parties in Nîmes and Montpellier.
- Kayaking days with the teachers.
She also works to raise the funds needed to organize events:
- Organizing the orientation day.
- Disintegration Day for thesophomores.
- Organizing the Partnership and Open House Days
- As well as organizing the challenge that brings together all SGM departments in France.
The association has a space where students can gather during breaks to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea.
