SGM department projects

The End-of-Study Project makes you accountable to an industrial company, thanks to a specific and unique organization.

An organized student team

Students work together in groups of 4 or 5 all year round. A weekly block of 4 hours is set aside for the year.

Innovative and industrial topics

All projects have an industrial customer. The industrial client validates project phase changes with the students.

Original management

Management is original and focused on empowering students. The tutor is chosen so as not to be an expert in the project field. So it's up to the students to find and choose the experts who can help them. The tutor ensures that the project stays on schedule, and that there is no financial or technical slippage, in line with the objectives set out in the specifications.

Available experts

The diverse teaching team (statutory, industrial and part-time) provides fundamental technical support for students.

Final defense

The students present their results in front of the entire department: a little stressful, but the end of a year of hard work!

  • Optimization of composite parts for sports (boating, stepper, mechanical and mountain sports, etc.)
  • Designing a new material from recycled materials or from bio-based polymers and natural fibers,
  • Design of an electric body board, or a container for an Anduze vase,
  • Characterization and optimization of an anti-tag surface,
  • Research into a process for stabilizing wood and mammoth bone for Laguiole knife handles,
  • Soil quality study for an Anduze vase manufacturer
  • Study of bonding on structural composites for Airbus Helicopters
  • Design of a bench for infrared inspection of composite parts (non-destructive testing)
