The goal of this professional bachelor's degree program is to provide students with a solid education in the design and fabrication of welded structural components, welding techniques, and quality control procedures.

Target Skills

The targeted qualification is that of WeldingCoordinator (NF in accordance with ISO 14731).
This bachelor’s degree program is accredited by the French WeldingAssociation to prepare students for the I.W.T.(International Welding Technologist)exam.
Upon completion of the program, graduates will be able to:

  • Prepare the drawings and bill of materials,
  • Define welding procedure specifications,
  • Solve problems related to metallurgy and weldability,
  • Managing Organizational Issues in Workshops and on Construction Sites
  • Draft technical documents (welding specifications)

Recruitment and Admission Requirements

Two years of post-secondary education

DUT, BTS, or second year of a bachelor's degree in technology-related fields

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Based on application materials and an interview
CONTINUING EDUCATION: All programs are available as continuing education courses (for employees, individuals, or job seekers), subject to meeting the required prerequisites.
Admission may also be granted through the Recognition of Prior Learning and Experience (VAE, VAP, or VES).
