The apprenticeship contract

Apprenticeship is based on the principle of alternating academic and practical training at the training center with the acquisition of know-how by an employer. The rhythm of this alternation varies according to the course taken, but respects a schedule established in advance.

• The apprenticeship contract is a special type of employment contract that gives students dual status: as students and as full-fledged employees of the company.
• The apprenticeship contract is aimed at people under 30 when they sign the contract (except in the case of disabled workers, business start-ups or top-level athletes).
