Learning center (library)

An integrated library at the heart of learning, the IUT LearningCenter provides students with differentiated, connected work spaces, improved access to documentary resources on all media, and a relaxation area.

Collections

The IUT learning center offers documents in the following areas:

Construction
Civil engineering
IT
Electrical engineering
Automation
Mathematics
Mechanical engineering
Materials engineering
Business administration

Novels and comics are also available, as well as 10 titles of general periodicals, which can be borrowed for 1 week.

The collections comprise some 3,000 volumes.

Loan conditions

Loan for teachers, university students with their card, and external staff.

Loan period :

10 documents for 21 days in Bachelor's and Master's courses
12 documents for 28 days in PhD

Equipment and services

The learning center offers 4 connected carrels with a writing wall for group work, 4 relaxation areas equipped with heated seating and integrated plug-in units, and several services:

3 computers with Internet access
1 large dynamic screen to keep up to date with news from the University of Montpellier and the Montpellier Inter-University Library
1 photocopier-printer-scanner with payment by IZLY card
1 loaner computer
