Integrated into the heart of the learning experience, the IUT’s LearningCenter offers students a variety of connected workspaces, improved access to and utilization of library resources across all formats, and a relaxation area.

New: Reserve your study room at the IUT
On the first floor of the IUT, four study rooms (for 6, 8, or 12 people) are now available by reservation through the “Affluences” service.
Book your room in 3 easy steps:
Step 1:
Download the University Libraries app (Library Mobile) from Google Play or the App Store and reserve your room OR go directly to theAffluences reservation page
Step 2:
Book your appointment using your @etu.umontpellier.fr email address, then confirm your request via email.
Step 3:
Go to the library staff office or speak with the student assistants and show your student ID cards to pick up the keys to the reserved room.
Important information:
- Your reservation will be automatically canceled after 30 minutes if you do not check in at the front desk.
- Sessions are one hour long, with a maximum of 4 hours per day per student.
The use of group study rooms must comply with the IUT’s internal regulations and, in particular, adhere to the following rules: no eating, no phone calls, no vaping, and no smoking. Please respect the facilities, furniture, and equipment provided. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in disciplinary action by staff.
Digital equipment
- computers for accessing catalogs and online resources;
- office software and free internet access;
- copiers, printers, and scanners;
- computer loan;
- HDMI cables, noise-canceling headphones, and calculators are available for use on-site; DVD players are available for checkout to take home.
Collections
The Learning Center offers materials in the following fields: construction, civil engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, electronics, automation, mathematics, mechanical engineering, materials engineering, and business administration; as well as novels, comic books, and DVDs.
