The Nîmes IUT learninglab is part of the LearningLab Network (national network of LearningLabs).

An innovative space

Spread over 600m² dedicated to innovative teaching methods, the IUT learninglab offers 2 large, fluid, open-plan learning spaces. Writing walls, reconfigurable spaces, co-working areas and a relaxation area make up this innovative training facility, which gives pride of place to active and creative teaching methods.

The IUT learninglab enables :

  • test and develop different learning methods
  • a range of upgradeable digital equipment
  • support the acquisition of digital skills, cultures and humanities
  • host training courses, meetings, seminars, productions, experiments, research, observation, etc.
  • welcome a variety of audiences and events

For students: advice and tutoring on how to use ICTE tools

  • ICTE: moodle and other tools for learning and collaboration, introduction to simple audio-video creation
  • Co-coaching: students are invited to exchange methodological advice and learning support in the subjects they have mastered.
  • Co-working: come along with your escape game, serious game or cross-disciplinary educational challenge project! We'll be happy to guide you and do everything we can to make your project a reality!

For teachers: support for innovative teaching methods

  • Assistance with any pedagogical situation to be developed, improved or unblocked: pedagogical alignment, assessment, distance learning, hybridization, group management, alternative pedagogy, edutainment, etc.
  • Support on Moodle, as well as available applications: ChallengeMe peer review tool, IOGA video self-interview platform, etc.
  • Help with the facilitation of specific sessions: portfolio, Agile Project Management game, sessions requiring an additional facilitator/jury, etc.
  • Teaching aids: inventory available on moodle
  • Educational news: software, neuroscience, experimentation, educational events

For companies

The learninglab is also a space dedicated to co-working, bringing together professionals and innovative project leaders.

It's an ideal setting for any seminar or training course involving the search for innovative solutions in large and small groups via brainstorming, web research and creativity workshops.
