ADMISSION TO THE IUT

The IUT has two entrances:

• South Entrance: Main Entrance, 8 Rue Jules Raimu – 30900 Nîmes
• North entrance: pedestrians only, via Pasteur Marc Boegner Boulevard

• Access by Train
  • Saint-Césaire Train Station + 10-minute walk to the IUT – Enter through the South entrance
  • Nîmes Centre Train Station + Bus Line 15 – IUT DAYAN Stop – Enter via the South Entrance
• Access by tram or bus from downtown Nîmes :
  • TRAM Line 2, Campus stop – Entrance via the North entrance
  • Bus Line 15, IUT DAYAN stop – Entrance via the South entrance
• Access eBicycles – entry via the south entrance only
  • Personal bicycles: Several parking areas are available at the IUT
  • Electric bikes: A bike station is available in front of the south entrance to the IUT

CAR PARKING AT THE IUT

The IUT provides students with a parking lot with a limited number of spaces. Access is therefore permitted only while spaces are available: when the “FULL” sign is displayed at the entrance to the site, student vehicles are no longer allowed to enter or park on campus.

Some parking spaces are reserved for carpoolers.

Parking is subject to strict hours: no vehicles may remain parked in the parking lot between 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

To access the parking lot, students must have a parking permit, which must be affixed in a visible location on the vehicle's windshield.

This sticker is for personal use only and may not be transferred to another student.

At the start of the school year in September, all students receive an email containing parking guidelines and a registration link.

To apply for this during the academic year, or for further information, students should contact their department’s administrative office, which will provide them with details on how to register and obtain the sticker.

The issuance and use of the parking permit require compliance with the parking lot’s rules and regulations, which each applicant must read and accept when submitting an online application.

RULES GOVERNING THE USE OF THE STUDENT PARKING LOT

These regulations set forth the terms and conditions for access to and use of the student parking lot. Accordingly, in the event of a violation of these provisions, the IUT administration may, depending on the severity or frequency of the violation, take the following disciplinary measures:

• revocation of parking privileges, either temporarily or permanently
