GMP Department Student Association

Starting in the fall semester of 2022, a single student union composed of students from every department at the IUT will replace the former student associations that existed within each department. This new structure will bring all students together through cultural, athletic, and social activities, among others.

The board was elected last May, and we will soon be posting a list of members and upcoming projects!

THE GMP ASSOCIATION

The GMP Club is a friendly and welcoming place to relax within the department, where you can watch TV, play cards, and listen to music with your classmates. The club also sells refreshments and snacks (sodas, crepes, etc.) throughout the year. It’s a communal space where you can study with the help of other students. The club also organizes outings and barbecues, always in a friendly atmosphere.

ACTIVITIES

For the past few years, the GMP club has been organizing a welcome weekend to help first- and second-year students get to know each other and make the club’s social events more enjoyable.

Every year, after the February break, the GMP Association organizes a long weekend of skiing. Some teachers join in on the event.
