Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering

The goal of the GMP department’s faculty is to train technicians for hands-on roles in the fields of mechanical engineering and manufacturing technology. The program covers the fields of mechanical technology (Design and Manufacturing) and also addresses the fundamental sciences related to mechanical engineering (Structural Analysis, Dynamics, Materials, etc.). The curriculum as a whole ensures that every student who graduates from the department has opportunities for career advancement throughout their professional life. The program emphasizes group project work using modern tools and is designed to prepare students for a variety of careers.
