Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering

The goal of the GMP department’s faculty is to train technicians for hands-on roles in the fields of mechanical engineering and manufacturing technology. The curriculum covers the fields of mechanical technology (Design and Manufacturing) and also addresses the fundamental sciences related to mechanical engineering (Structural Analysis, Dynamics, Materials, etc.). The curriculum as a whole ensures that every student who graduates from the department has opportunities for career advancement throughout their professional life. The program emphasizes having students work in groups on projects using modern tools and adapting to various professions.
