Electrical Engineering and Industrial Computing Department

The GEII department of the Nîmes IUT is dedicated to training senior technicians in the field of electrical engineering. The department is staffed by 24 lecturers (50% teaching & 50% research), 3 technicians, 1 secretary and numerous external contributors. Around 200 students are divided between initial training (first and second year), sandwich courses and the "Management & Use of Renewable Energies" professional license.

The initial training of the department's students is varied: the GEII department welcomes general and technological baccalaureate holders. On a case-by-case basis, vocational baccalaureate holders who have demonstrated excellent work skills during high school are admitted to the GEII department. Places are also available for foreign students, notably through the Campus France procedure.
